The Administration Department is responsible for managing the internal operations of the City and implementing the direction of City Council.

 

City Administrator

Jack Linehan, the City Administrator, began working for the City of Falcon Heights in 2022. Jack is appointed by the Mayor and City Council and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the City.

Finance Director

Roland Olson is the City's finance director and has served in this capacity since the early 1990s. Roland is responsible for reporting to the City Council on financial matters of the City, preparing the annual budget, and managing invoices and payables.

Assistant to the City Administrator

Kelly Nelson serves as the Assistant to the City Administrator. Kelly began working with the City in 2022. She oversees seasonal park programming and provides administrative support to City functions including licensing, permits, and elections.

Elke van der Werff serves as the Administrative and Communications Coordinator. Elke began working with the City in 2023 and provides administrative support to City functions, including coordinating permits and managing communications.
