About the Community Garden

In 2007 the Falcon Heights Environment Commission organized a community garden for Falcon Heights residents who have no space to garden where they live. The garden is located at Community Park on the southeast corner of Roselawn & Cleveland.

Participants are required to pay an annual fee of $25.00 per plot and take part in the spring preparation and site upkeep through the season.  The garden plots are each 10' x 12' in size.

Returning gardeners are given priority. If plots are open, they are assigned on a first come, first served basis, with preference given in the following order:

1.) Falcon Heights residents without access to land to garden

2). Other Falcon Heights residents

3). Non-Falcon Heights residents

The site is fenced against rabbits and water is provided. Check out this video from our 2014 Community Garden.

All garden plots for the 2024 gardening season are full.

If you would like to be put on the waiting list for 2025, please contact Kelly Nelson at kelly.nelson@falconheights.org, or call City Hall at 651-792-7600.
