Public hearings give the public opportunities to provide input on specific proposals, projects, and events happening in the City. Hearings are held before either the City Council or the Planning Commission, typically during their scheduled meeting. To verify meeting dates, visit the City Calendar.
Notices will be posted below as they are scheduled. By law, notices must be published at least ten (10) days prior to the hearing. In addition to posting online, the City publishes all public notices in the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the official newspaper for the City's legal notices.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Falcon Heights Planning Commission at its regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. on November 26, 2024, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2077 W. Larpenteur Ave, will hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to Chapter 113 of City Code permitting cannabis businesses in the City of Falcon Heights.
The proposed updates will be available upon request no later than Friday, November 22, 2024. It will also be available on the City’s website. Larpenteur Ave, will hold a public hearing to consider updating City Code to allow accessory dwelling units, modify parking requirements, clarify language, and address other minor inconsistencies and necessary corrections.

The City Council will be considering the improvement of the Idaho/Iowa alleyway between Pascal Street and Arona Street. The proposed improvement project includes a mill and overlay of the pavement of the alleyway and modifying the storm water utilities.

Tuesday, June 28, 2022 - Planning Commission - 7:00 p.m. at City Hall
The Planning Commission will be considering a recommendation of Ordinance 22-01 to City Council to change City Code Sec. 105-120 through 105-126 to require the registration of vacant properties within the City of Falcon Heights. Consistent with the requirements of the General Storm Water Permit Application for Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4), the City of Falcon Heights has prepared an annual report of activities related to the City of Falcon Heights’ Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program (SWPPP).
Interested persons may attend the public hearing in-person, submit written comments via email to mail@falconheights.org, use standard mail or use the drop box at City Hall. Written public comments regarding this report will be taken until June 21.
