Ramsey County administers all of the city's elections. Voting before Election Day is not available at Falcon Heights City Hall.

Voter Registration
If you need to register to vote or update your registration, you may do so in-person at an Early Voting location, or on Election Day at your polling place. Voters may also register online, or download and mail a paper application. Visit MNvotes.org for more information, and to verify any ID documents you may need to bring with you to your voting location.
City Precincts
Falcon Heights has two election precincts. Properties west of Snelling Ave are part of Precinct 1, and properties east of Snelling Ave are part of Precinct 2. Click here to find out which precinct you must vote at on Election Day. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Vote Absentee
Absentee voting or early voting begins September 20.
Vote absentee by mail
Ramsey County voters may request a ballot to be mailed to them:

Voters can visit ramseycounty.us/VoteByMail to request an absentee ballot. A ballot will be mailed to the voter along with a pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope for returning their completed ballot materials. Voters can track the status of their absentee ballot through the Minnesota Secretary of State’s online ballot tracker.
Ballots returned by mail must be received in the Ramsey County Elections Office Plato Building by Election Day in order to be accepted.
Voters may also return their ballot in person to any early voting location by November 4. All ballots must be returned inside the building, where an election judge will verify voter informaiton is complete. Ballots placed in any outdoor document drop boxes or payment boxes will not be accepted.

Voting on Election day
On Election Day you must vote at your assigned polling place. Be sure to look up your polling place in advance — it may have changed since you last voted.
Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
On Election Day, the only place you may return your absentee ballot in person is the Ramsey County Elections Office by 8 p.m.
You can also vote in person at your assigned polling place. Your absentee ballot will be spoiled (made invalid in the system) and you will be issued a new ballot to cast at the polling place.
