License applications are accepted throughout the year, but expire with the calendar year. Staff typically contact current license holders in October to initiate license renewal for the following year.

License Fee
Most licenses require a fee. Check the City Fee Schedule to identify the cost of the license fee, or locate it on the application. You can make payment via cash, check, or with a credit card over the phone. Please note that electronic payments will incur a transaction fee. If you would like to pay over the phone, please call City Hall during business hours at 651-792-7600.
Approval Process
Once received, licenses are reviewed by the Falcon Heights City Council, with the exception of Solicitors permits, which are approved administratively. Staff will work to process license applications as quickly as possible once approved. To ensure a timely approval process, please ensure you have provided all required materials and paid the license fee.
