Falcon Heights began a concerted effort to examine and improve our inclusion efforts following the death of Philando Castile in our city on July 6, 2016. Shortly after this tragic event, the City Council voted to organize an Inclusion and Policing Task Force. The Task Force held meetings, sponsored community conversations, and ultimately provided recommendations to the City Council. These recommendations and our continuing efforts to cultivate a caring community are summarized below, and you can learn more by clicking on the links.
